“I don’t remember when food stopped being for hunger and started being for entertainment, but I do know that this is when that process started to reverse.”

CHRISTINE FROM ALASKA

“I just don’t want to eat junk food anymore.  I have no desire to stuff myself.

RHONDA FROM MASSACHUSETTS

“For the first time in forever, I went to McD’s and wasn’t tempted to get an egg/cheese on biscuit or any of that stuff that’s good tasting but not good for me.”

DIANA FROM NEW JERSEY

“I lost 40lbs in the last 4 years on self-hatred.  My body image has improved more in the last 21 days than in those 4 years.”

ANGIE FROM CALIFORNIA

“It’s like being in a parallel universe!”

BROOKLYN FROM NEW HAMPSHIRE

“I definitely feel I am in more control of my choices now.”

JENNIFER FROM OKLAHOMA

“I have to echo what has been said. I cannot believe the subtle yet powerful changes that are taking place in my head.  I’m actually looking forward to Friday’s weigh in.”

CHERYL FROM CALIFORNIA

“It’s easy to leave temptations alone and when I do indulge, I am satisfied with just a taste.”

GLENDA FROM WASHINGTON

“I think the biggest thing I have noticed is that it has just changed my entire perspective. I’m not always thinking about what I’ll eat next. I am also noticing that my portions are to feed my body, not feed the masses. Plus the ‘feeding Frenzy’ is gone ~ I’m not scarfing fast like theres no tomorrow, or like someone might take it away before I finish.”

MARY ANN FROM ARIZONA

“I think it would be physically impossible for me to sit on my butt eating chocolate without the voices in my head driving me crazy at this point

:-)”

Rhonda

“I did my CD again this morning. When I got to work this morning, I was sitting at my desk when a woman walked by pushing a cart filled with junk food for our vending area. I remember actually thinking ‘Eww’ as it rolled by.”

Jennifer

“It’s CRAZY, isn’t it???  I so understand the ‘feeding frenzy’ and it’s gone.  I don’t even think about food much. This is unbelievable!!”

Brooklyn

“Food has really become something I eat to sustain myself and not a reward or crutch. I had two people remark about my weight, they are starting to notice and that is so encouraging.”

Cheryl

“I had never tried a persimmon before Friday.  It is now Sunday, and I’ve had 5 of them.  I’ve passed up all kinds of sugary goodies, and just indulged in my new-found love for this fruit.”

CHRISTINE

“It may seem strange but I believe I am walking straighter.”

Cheryl

“I use my LimbaSniffer when I start to feel like I am wanting to give in to some stupid food idea.  “Sniff sniff sniff......Aaaaaaaaah that’s better.”

Mary Ann

“I buy more fruits and veggies now to have on hand.  No junk food.”

Glenda

“I’m really jazzed to have my fitness program on track.”

CHRISTINE

“[At work] they actually made a PA system announcement that ‘The Bagels Have Arrived.’  Like sheep I saw lines of employees slowly move from their offices to walk toward the smell of sourdough and cream cheese. I swear I almost heard a distant “Baaaaahhh” in the background. :) One of my co-workers walked by me with a bagel in her hand and said “Jenn, you gonna get you some?” I looked down at my stomach and said ‘Tummy, are you hungry? Do you want a bagel?’ Tummy was giving me the silent treatment. I took that as a no. And stayed in my seat.”

Jennifer

“I am way less critical of my body.”

Mary Ann

“Can you even imagine, forgetting to eat?  I used to scoff at those people.  Now I am becoming one.  It’s wild.”

Brooklyn

“I have no self control when it comes to pasta in creamy sauces.  Make that I had no self-control, it would appear that I do now!”

Rhonda

“I am more confident and less grouchy.  Things that used to bother me a lot (like my job) don’t seem so bad.  I have this this shoebox of photos that need to go into albums.  That project has been plaguing me for years, and this week I pulled out the box and started organizing the pictures.”

Brooklyn

“I went to the grocery store last night - hungry - which is a big no-no;  yet as I wandered up and down each of  the aisles (I also failed to take a list, which is another big no-no), I found myself naturally being drawn to healthier foods. I would start down the row of chips, see the colorful bags, and think ‘eh,’ and move on. That’s a HUGE deal for me, because if I go to the store HUNGRY and WITHOUT A LIST, usually I end up with $150 worth of desserts and breads, haha.  It was so different this time - no mental battles on whether or not I should get the ice cream or not; I just didn’t feel like buying it. Yay!”

Jennifer

“I find I am wanting to eat fruit more now than I ever did. I am Loving the produce dept!”

MaryAnn

I have half a cake, a box of oatmeal craisin cookies, a bag of twizzlers, and two tubs of ice cream in my kitchen among other things.  No desire to touch any of them.”

Rhonda

“I am amazed!  I am not thinking about food all the time.”

Brooklyn

“[Since LimbaSlim,] when grocery shopping, I tend to stay more on the periphery, and don’t spend as much time in the aisles where all the processed foods are.  I have also found that I am satisfied with less food, and I stop eating sooner than I did before.”

Jennifer

“LimbaSlim has helped me in ways I still can’t properly comprehend.  I am excited to lose weight again.  I am feeling better about myself, not just in the food department, but in areas that I lack confidence or that I don’t like – like my job.  I have finally tackled a momentous project that has been plaguing me for years – and I don’t find it any accident that I finally feel like I can do a good job on the project.”

Brooklyn

“I have refrained  eating any type of junk food, and other than a brief moment of panic yesterday, I haven’t even been tempted.”

CHRISTINE

“I don’t think about and obsess about the time, and then go back for more.  It tastes good and then it’s over.  This is GREAT!  How can this be??  I have never ever ever felt like this before.”

Brooklyn

“I’ve lost weight and it’s been easy, back to exercising regularly, I’m more relaxed and I’m sleeping better at night. Why would I ever want to go back to old ways?”

Glenda

“Those ugly saddle bags on my hips are like half the size they were 2 weeks ago; I can see them when I naked but they’re not obvious when I’m clothed and my hubby keeps sneaking up behind me just to run his hands over them and tell me how hot I am.  Course he’s a little biased but even critical old me can see that my butt is changing shape.”

Rhonda

“I’m having some side effects.  My house is cleaner because I have more energy and I need to keep the living room picked up so I can exercise there.  My budget is in better shape because I’m not eating out and I’m not buying junk at the supermarket.  My conscience is in better shape because I’m not doing stuff like buying a donut and feeling dishonest about it because it doesn’t matter how often I try to convince myself otherwise, donuts are not remotely necessary even on rough days.  My family are happier; the boy gets out to play and run around more often and the hubby gets a happy and healthy wife.”

Rhonda

“I find when I go to the market today it was easy to put fruits & veggies and other healthy foods in my basket.  I use the Limba sniffer before I go in.”

Glenda

“Usually when I get home, I need to eat IMMEDIATELY because I am STARVING.  And I usually eat way too much - I can handle the work day pretty well and usually not snack but once I am in that door all bets are off.  But over the last 3 nights [since starting limbaslim] I was able to prepare a plate and eat it with some decorum, then once I was done I was done.”
